The End of the Long Weekend

The End of the Long Weekend

The baby fell today and had to get five stitches in the middle of his forehead.

I stayed home with my older son while my husband took him to the urgent care clinic. I’m glad I didn’t go. I’m sure I would have cried more than anyone.

Tomorrow marks the end of Thanksgiving break. Part of me is glad. I flounder when I don’t have work to give me direction. Today I did lots of journaling, learned how to play “Mafia,” watched a Stephen Quiller DVD on color choices in watercolor, practiced shading with my colored pencils, and read David Copperfield. A little of this, a little of that.
