Onto the Cold
I'm feeling sick but satisfied today. I met with a leadership coach this morning. We got on like a house on fire. She gave me a small stack of printouts that detailed my management strengths and "development opportunities," then helped me forge a plan to meet department goals.
We also wrapped up a project that's been eating up much of my time these past few months. It'll likely require more time for revisions and additions, now that the work has gone live, but it's rewarding to see it finally come to life.
In other news, the scratchy throat I've been nursing all week has blossomed into a full-blown cold. I brought my laptop home so that I could work in bed tomorrow. I'm feeling optimistic. The baby weaned last month, which means I can take decongestants for the first time in five years.
Now if only season two of Stranger Things was available to stream on Netflix, life would be damn near perfect.
