Our Trip to Legoland
We visited the Legoland Discovery Center today. I took the day off work and left the baby with Grandma, then we drove toward Philadelphia for the Center's 10 a.m. opening.
This guy has not been on his best behavior lately. But it still felt good to see him have such a great time. From the moment we got there he ran around saying, "I love this place. I love this place."
(Which is the pretty much how I feel when I visit a bookstore or an art supply shop.)
We spent about three hours at Legoland, running from one exhibit to the other. Then we visited family that lived nearby.
The break from work did me good. I don't have a busy schedule this week, but I find it impossible to focus lately. I think I've been staring at screens too much; they've turned my brain to jelly.
I haven't written anything good in ages. I have been making small (albeit regular) progress on my memoir, so that's something. Maybe that's why I arrive at these blog posts feeling so spent. I've used up all my allotted words for the day.
