The Journey is the Destination
I finished listening to season one of the podcast Someone Knows Something today.
I love how people are becoming more accepting of stories with open endings. That's true of podcasts, at least. Serial, Missing Richard Simmons, S Town: None of those had a conclusive ending. And yet they're still compelling.
It would seem that the process of investigation is inherently interesting. Listening to Someone Knows Something, I became enthralled by the cadaver dogs, the divers and the conversations with the townspeople. And while season one of the podcast has ended, the story is still taking shape.
Take a look:
Fascinating, right? People say, "The journey is the destination." If that's true, maybe the investigation is the story.
