Hawking My Wares
Psst. Hey you. Yeah, you.
Wanna buy some artwork?
Goodness, but it takes time! All that photographing and photo editing, color balancing and cropping, typing up details about height and width and length, materials and dimensions.
God knows if any of them will sell. It feels good to have them out in the world, though, and not just taking up space on a shelf in my closet.
I bought a tote bag and a journal on Society6 a few weeks ago to gauge their quality. (This tote bag, to be specific, and this journal.) They're both nice. The prints are nice and vibrant, and the bag is sturdy. In a few months maybe I'll buy something with my own artwork on it. Isn't this backpack fun? And this little carry-all pouch?
Who knew this art habit would lead to such rampant consumerism?
